Biography
Marco Antonio Barrera, born Mexico City in 1974, was the most decorated of the three-Mexican golden generation alongside Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Márquez. His trilogy with Erik Morales (2000, 2002, 2004) was the most-watched series of fights in Mexican boxing history; Morales-Barrera I (February 2000) is widely cited as the best Fight of the Year of the decade.
