Biography
Holly Holm, born Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1981, held three of the four major welterweight world titles between 2006 and 2013 — making her undisputed at 147 in spirit if not by post-2007 sanctioning standards. Renowned for her elite-level footwork and southpaw-style jab from an orthodox stance, Holm transitioned to MMA in 2011 and famously knocked out Ronda Rousey in November 2015 to become UFC bantamweight champion. Returned to boxing speculation in the late 2020s but has not formally returned to the ring.
