Biography

Ann Wolfe, born Houston, Texas in 1971, is generally cited as the heaviest puncher in women's boxing history. Her 2004 first-round knockout of Vonda Ward — Ward fell unconscious before her head hit the canvas — is one of the most highlighted KOs in women's boxing on YouTube. Wolfe held titles in four divisions despite famously training homeless and sleeping in her car for parts of her early career. Now a trainer in Austin, Texas; her gym produced UFC champion Andre Ward's longtime training methodology.
